- Art Supplies: Students will need the following art materials to fully participate in the course:
- Oil paints (titanium white, ultramarine blue, cadmium red, cadmium yellow, burnt umber, and black)
- Brushes (variety of flat and round brushes for oil painting or watercolors)
- Canvas or canvas boards (for oil painting)
- Watercolor paper (for watercolor painting)
- Graphite pencils (range from hard to soft for detailed drawing)
- Charcoal or Conte crayons (for shading and sketching)
- Palette (for mixing oils and watercolors)
- Palette knives (for oil painting texture and mixing)
- Rags or paper towels (for cleaning brushes and wiping excess paint)
- Water container (for watercolor)
- Easel (if painting in person at home)
