Perfect for beginners and intermediate artists; our Wednesday night Painting Class is a chance to paint with me from the comfort of your own home. We will work from the same reference and I will share my working process and provide guidance and tips to help you unlock your artistic potential. This 10-week online painting fundamentals class will focus on portraiture but we may also paint a landscape or two to add some variety. This Zoom-based class offers a comprehensive, step-by-step approach to help you develop a solid foundation in setting up the drawing, notes on composition, perspective, light and shadow, and much more.

(basic just get 1 of each) - Canvas or canvas boards - recommend medium size eg Mont Marte Canvas Panel - 25.4 x 30.5cm (10 x 12in) or 30.5 x 40.6cm (12 x 16in)
- Palette for mixing oil paints (Mont Marte Oval Wooden Palette 38 x 30 x 4 (no white or paper palettes))
The traditional kidney shaped palette. For best results rub with linseed oil to provide a repellent surface. - Palette knives for mixing and texturing - recommend teardrop palette knife size 8
- Rags or paper towels for cleaning brushes - recommend small cotton rags (cut up t shirts) for use ON painting, paper towel for cleaning brushes
