- Tonal Painting (Grisaille)
Next, you’ll step into the world of tonal painting, traditionally known as Grisaille or underpainting. Working in shades of gray, you’ll learn to control light and shadow, build form (3 dimensionality). This process is essential in order to best understand the complexity of colour. - Painting in Colour
