Rembrandt van Rijn - Painting is the grandchild of Nature

This week we've been looking at some paintings by Hugh Ramsay. Ramsay was an incredible talent with that rare skill exemplified by old Masters like Diego Velazquez. Died too early at the age of 28. On Wednesday night we painted copies of (Study of a girl, half-nude, leaning on box) The original is in the National Gallery of Victoria.
